Diesel Motorcycles
I was wondering today if there was such a thing. So I searched for it when I got home.

Once Jan. 2010 comes around all diesel engines sold in the U.S. must be US_10 NOx compliant. Not to mention it must already have a diesel particulate filter.
You won't see a diesel in the US on a bike unless the above emission requirements are not appllicalbe to under a certain CC. There is simply no room for the additional components.

My family owns a couple of diesel ATV's.
I don't see why it wouldn't be adaptable for motorcycles, though I'd expect it for something the size of touring bikes.

Ya, my uncle had one. A polaris. It would pull a house, but it wouldn't pull it quickly. I dunno what the redline was, but it was really, really low. And it was very hard to start in the cold, to the point that he had to add block heaters.
He ended up selling it to a drug dealer up the road from him, and buying another gas job. It wasn't impressive. Cummins Diesels they are not.

This is a 250...prolly under no regulation. This is possible is they meet the NOx requirements, which most likely is going to result in an SCR system.

Diesel power is looking a lot less appealing now. Nobody wants to buy Exhaust Fluid along with Fuel
