Advice on tank pad\protectors
Being new to this "brand new bike and caring about the paint job thing"...
Any recommendations on tank protector (black) to toss on the CBR? Types, brands prices? Its another one of those things that I am clueless on... Any help would be greatly appreciated |

Are you talking about those "crotch guards", which are near-useless IMO? All they do is prevent the POSSIBILITY that your jacket zipper/buttons might scratch it. How about just not wearing denim jackets
More important is to install some tank GRIPS, not those ghey "protectors". Check out TechSpec for the best tank grips IMO. |

I have one on my bike and I got it from a local shop, they had a bunch to choose from. Just make sure it's applied straight so it doesn't piss you off every time you look at it. |
