If you watch the slow-mo replay, you can see he picked the front of the bike up on the exit of the previous corner and slammed it down on the brakes... basically he bounced the bike, which made the back end slide around on him.
Hopefully he gets to race this weekend, that'd suck to see him disappear from the championship because of that wreck.
