"Discrete" Boots
After a busting both feet a few years ago in a low speed bumble, I am careful to wear boots I have a nice set of Sidi that I use but they are lousy to walk in so it means carrying shoes. I am looking for advice or experience with any of the Discrete riding boots. The ones that appear more like sneakers or street shoes looks for good protection and the ability to walk around for an hour at a time.

I like the look of the Puma's.
I'd go with the Flat V2 or the Desmo 800 |

Rick I bought a pair of these and they work great. I typically don't like Icon and this is the only Icon product I've ever bought but they work great for a casual ride or when I know I'm going to be walking around a bit. You know how I have issues with my foot due to my accident several years ago and have to be careful with what I choose to wear as far as comfort and these have worked out just fine for me. Good protection...comfortable...and light weight !!
I've talked to a few people that have them and every one of them swear by these. http://www.newenough.com/street/boot...ycle_boot.html Here's a video on them... http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com/Detail.bok?no=4475 |

I wear these Sidis for casual riding:
The only issue I have right now is that the uppers are a bit fat, even though they are intended to fit under pants, not over them. I don't even have calves that small. I might take them in and see if I can get some more velcro put on the upper part. |

i like my icon superduty 3's. Only issue is i have fairly big feet and the toe of the boots is tall enough that its a tight fit getting it under the shifter
