Aprilia RS125 two-stroker coming to America
Yep. 2009. And no, it ain't cheap at around $6000 a pop, and yes, you can get a Ninja 250 for a lot cheaper, but if you want unadulterated fun, she be it.

how are they getting that through emissions? thought that was the issue... that 2strokes don't run clean enough to pass us emissions?

I've heard rumors that a few new ones pass Euro III emissions, just not CA. Is this thing street legal here? Would be nice to see someone next to it for scale...

It's going to be imported as "offroad" vehicle only. However it does have lights and turn signals therefore certain states (i.e. Texas and New Mexico) will allow it to be registered.
I was thinking about a Husky supermoto next year, but I think that I've found me new luv!!! The AF1 Racing dudes just had a track day with Aprilia USA on them and they said that those things are utterly sick on the track. Top out barely 100-MPH, but cornering is blazingly fast.

I think that it's suppose to be fuel injected. But hold your horses. Supposedly DOT is giving Aprilia a fit right now.
