Default Help me buy a new phone...

I need a new phone, but theres so much shit to siphon through out there i dont even know where to start. i had verizon, and am not going back to them. we didnt end our relationship on the best of terms. I owe them money and since they are jerks i'm paying it off pennies at a time.

So anyways, i need some help. i dont need an Iphone w/ 3g package and satalite uplinks and infrared scanners or anything, just need something to talk on and text on. i loved my old phone cause it had a 3mp camera, but i can honestly do without.

would like to keep the plan around 50-60 bucks. only need around 400 minutes (w/ unl nights and weekends) and unlimited texts. I've done some shopping and cant really find anything i love, so i was curious what some of you are using and whether you'd suggest it.

I don't text so I can't help you there but AT&T plans are reasonable and I am switching to them from Verizon.

So Rider why are you leaving Verizon? I have Nextel and plan on changing once my phone wears out - whenever that occurs.

For the same plan AT&T is cheaper and I get a bigger corporate discount with AT&T. It will be also be easier to have one big bill when my neighborhood gets U-Verse next month. I also don't like the phone selection that Verizon has.

its also my NEXT phone too. I'm rockin a nokia 5310 on tmobile right now, and it kinda sucks, although you can talk/text on it, the sidekick is way easier.

DONT go to sprint/nextel. I"ve had nothing but horror stories with them and the SHIT they offer for phones.

Here, ATT will let you keep your number if you are in the same town or something like that.
