Best Places to Buy Refurb iPhones?

I'm wary of eBay these days. Anyone know of a good place to buy refurb/quality used iPhone 4 with no contract? I've found a few sites but so far the prices are making me cringe.

Our two year old decided to thank our friends for taking us out on their boat yesterday by throwing their daughter's phone in Lake Lanier.

It doesn't sound like locked/unlocked matters but $650 without a contract does.

Assuming he has a family plan, and that you can buy X number of additional phones at contract price with no impact on the monthly bill (doubtful), then he could just buy it and give it to someone else, and let them swap out the card and activate it on their carrier.

My employer pays for my mobile devices and plans. All we pay for is my wife's phone and even that is discounted through my employee plan. Buying a phone outside of her upgrade range is outrageous in price.

I found a 4 - 16GB in excellent shape, 1 year of use living in an Otter Box, for $200. A friend at work is getting a 5 this week and will sell it to me. I almost pulled the trigger on one through Amazon.

Turning out to be an expensive freaking weekend. Upstairs AC unit went out last night. Also commited to buying a Stoeger auto 12 gauge yesterday before this happened. :/

Worst part is the poor kid - she finally got her mom's hand me down iPhone after waiting months and months and it was her first day with the phone. She was in tears.

Not the point of the thread, but if she was so pleased with the phone, why did she hand it to a 2 yr old near water?

I don't know anyone that would hand a phone to a 2 year old. He has a knack for finding things he's not supposed to and getting into things he's not supposed to. And he's a quick little turd.
