Sounds like you need a bike anchor, like a sailor would use, a big hunk of a man sailor, all alone on a boat for so long all by himself with only the company of other men to keep you entertained.

Any chance you had the lever squeezed while it was on the trailer? I could see the exteme pressure that would have caused busting seals. And whn you pump em, they'd build a bit of pressure. Then it would bleed off.
Try pumping them to get them to work, then hold the lever to see if the pressure bleeds off. |

Lever was not squeezed when it was loaded on the trailer...It had a Canyon Strap on the handlbars holding the front end down...I think its just Hard abuse taking its tool on my brakes...
But SS lines will probably be on order and some Galfer Pads and Rotors
