And there we have it; the stupid comment to government overstepping it's authority. "If you aren't doing anything wrong, then you have nothing to worry about." Personal privacy doesn't require that you be doing something wrong, in order to qualify for it.

They are going to do it anyway with or without your knowledge. Big brother is always watching, get used to it. I'm not claiming it's right. It's a god damn invasion of privacy but there is nothing you can do about it.

If nothing about the gov't can be changed, why are conservatives bothering to hold Tea Party protests

The futile causes are the only ones worth fighting for.

You mean like privacy?
Well you can forget that in the USA......thanks to 9.11 the fear of terrorism will always trump privacy freedoms....well until they come for the guns

Precisely because of the stupid attitude that if you've done nothing wrong, then "you've got nothing to hide."

Apparently only macho things like flags, guns, and helmet-free riding are worth defending........Non-macho things like privacy aren't.

Remember the $10k toilet seat issues? This is why I choose to not CHOOSE a party. They're all friggin criminals, it's just who do you trust LESS?!? Me getting my panties all up in a wad won't fix it...so why worry myself. The system will fail on its own, and I just need enough ammo to survive the zombie apocalypse (you know I know better....but you also realize this ain't my first rodeo when it comes to arguing on a forum sometimes it's more fun to lob a grenade in a thread and run watching the fallout from the bunker)
