I don't see what the big deal is of 5 year olds hanging out with 6 year olds? How is that going to hinder her social development? Its not like she is 5 hanging out with 10 year olds.

My son likes to hang with older kids too. They get him in trouble. Of course they would never happen to April though, of course. Of course!!
