Alright...Time To Change It Up!!!
I've been mulling over a nw body kit for the old GSXR and I think have it down. I would like some opinions and constructive criticism, if any.
No surprise but I'm going with a white/black theme. Rims: I'm leaving the rims white but I'll most likely nix the rim tape. Don't everyone cry... Looking at CF but not sure yet. Wind screen: I'll probably go back to the CF scren or a dark tinted one. Tank: Stays white. Loses Jordan logo. Seat: Back to Suzuki Gel CF seat. Possible custom seat later. Body: Delkevic white/black. Front, fender, center tail and seat cowl- white down the center. Side panels, and side tail pieces- black on the sides. White pieces get black logos and black pieces get white logo. I've played with the idea of leaving the blue wind screen, rim tape, seat and having the "R" in GSXR be blue with a white outline to tie it in...maybe, even go back to the blue tail light. Of course, I could have all of the logos be done in blue...not sure. Vinyl comes off so I might try it. Oh and it's back to CF for the ram air covers. Here are some pics to give you the basic idea, |

For a guy who rips through phones like candy bars I'm surprised you've had the same bike for so long.

I think the black and white would look sharp. The blue would add a touch of color to it, but not sure how it would look. Like you said, vinyl comes off easily, so it can't hurt to try it out.

Actually, I was super close to doing a modified "Lucky Strike" set up nut decided to leave rep bikes for now.
The kit costs $600 shipped so its not out of the question for the future. Also this minimizes the amount of work I have to do vs the overall effect. No rims, tank,etc.... I think I will do the blue stickers to give it some color as Cap said. |

Thing is, there isn't much about that model GSXR that needs improvement (IMHO) and going to another frame/engine would probably be a lateral move at best.
