Got mine for $9000 just before the fall. Sux. Still owe $5000 for it. However I dont see these all over Arkansas when I ride. Somehow the exclusivity should add to the value, eventually.

I had already been preapproved by my bank, but said I would go with them if they could beat the rate. Finance guy went to check it out. Came back with 6.25%... Told him I'll use my bank, got him beat by over a full %. HD guy said he could cut .5% off of it, cause I was a good customer (never been there before) I laughed and handed them a check from my bank. |

The R is stock. CR has some nice mods, but never seen it not moving so not sure what all for sure. I too am hoping that eventually the 25th anny edition will be worth something extra. |

I see a few around here. They've really grown on me. There's a guy a few doors down from me who has the 1125R. I never see it move. I'd love to put a tank or two of gas through his bike just so it doesn't sit there and rot. If I had the loot, I'd make an offer on Drewpy's bike.

You can finance anything anywhere. Remember I bought 2 HDs in 2009. Financed my ultra in full thru Uma's Credit Union for mad less % rate. Then finance like $3k on her Nightster thru HD. The rate was slightly higher but it didn't matter, the difference was like $60 over the term, which I knew I would pay it off early. I may pay that off this summer...
When I financed my HHR last year... I had state farm bank give me a way low rate with free gap insurance. Told the dealer and they dropped their rate from 6% to 3% to beat SFB. I think most times it also depends on your credit score. |
