its on the center stand now, but both wheels are still on the ground and the suspension is just slightly compressed, maybe 1/4 inch of sag while on the center stand.
I'm gonna swap out the side stand with the other guy and get some 1" thick blocks of rubber to mount on the bottom of the center stand.

I think I would worry about the rubber "feet" failing.

If I bolt a block if solid hard rubber, like from a wheel chock straight to the bottom how can it fail?

Got the new kick stand on last night, it is brand spankin new, and the cleanest thing on that motorcycle. My kick stand worked perfectly for the other guy too.
Funny story: I did that BMW off road clinic a few weeks back. The guy that I swapped with was there with his wife, and we had a good 1/2 hour long conversation that day too. I roll up to his house and the first words out of his mouth were: I remember that bike.

Why would he remember that bike? As in stock height?

Make sure to give the guy a nice reach around for swapping kicks stands. It would be rude if you didn't.
