If you're gonna be a squatter, do it LARGE!

The revolutionary in me wants to say "Yeah! Fight the power!", but the Hank Hill in me can't get over the fact that... even though it's a foreclosure and not hurting an individual or family... it's still someone trying to take something to which they have absolutely no entitlement.

I just heard about this this morning.
I know two families on that block. Emotions aside, the guy is a fool. If he had moved in, kept quite and been a good neighbor, he could have lived there for a few years. Maybe even gotten to the 7 year mark. Because he is a loud mouth, he'll be out on the street and facing charges and a big bill from BofA.

There's a couple in Colorado who left their house because the husband's job took him out of the the country. They still own the house, but some illegal couple took over the house with the help of some jackass lawyer and adverse possession laws. So they came back to a house they're still paying for but can't live in. It's bullshit, regardless of who owns the house.

At least with a bank they have more resources to bring to bear against the squatter. Doesn't make it any less wrong, but it seems more like a victimless crime when it's against an institution.

Now "D" and the kids? No problem with them squatting, but just leave Ed back at the OLD house

I'm "squatting" on my neighboring properties, both beside me (enclosed hidden in the woods from HOA) and behind me (taken over and planted seed and mow) If I'm ever questioned, I've been on the land for 3 years now....I'm claiming it
