It isn't really about bike related questions though. The least active sub-forums on motorcycle forums seem to be the ones related to motorcycles

Haven't been on in a good while but keep up with many on FB. Got a new bike so it's like I'm a noob again (for the 4th) time. Got 3 bikes in the garage so according to most, that also makes me certifiably insane. LOL

I miss the banter on the forums! Our banter on CF was such a big time waster but so much fun. I met a lot of great people on the site and quite a few have stayed with me in the past. |

I stop in and look around every now and then. I have been busy with work, wife/kids, my site and looking for one of my dream vehicles. Spent two months looking for my Jeep. I was getting tired of the search and was almost to the point of looking for a bike but I didn't do it. My wife and kids can enjoy the Jeep with me. The bike is a solo thing.
I still want to get back on two wheels. It just doesn't look like it will happen this year. James

It's quiet here because when there was a flux of new members, some existing members went out of their way to make it clear some of the newbs weren't welcome. To make a few of the "originals" happy, this site sacrificed a large number of new members. Repeat that cycle a few times and when the originals slow their posting, the site content goes with them.
Both CF and TWF are pretty clear indicators that once people are turned-off to a site, they don't go back. It doesn't help that trip is a nozzle, either. |
