Never did update this. The Michigan Greyhound connection sent us a lovely card and told us they would get us another angel dog, just give them the word. We are holding off still. However, a quote that makes all that we went thru with Wayne worth it.

A Greyhound Wish:
"When I die, let it be as a pet, so that someone will remember me."

The vet also sent us a card that was very sweet of them.

And its been 6 weeks and this still sucks.
