Best HTML editing program...free or otherwise?
Need some recommendations for a good HTML editor. I did a website before for my trip and photography using Frontpage...which was ok but could've been better.
I need to make a decent looking photography page to showcase a portfolio and leave some contact info...doesn't need to be too fancy. I'd prefer not to have to pay for a program but if the free ones are a waste of time I will. Right now I have a 30 day trial of Adobe Dreamweaver.

Don't be a douchebag, if I knew how to program HTML code I wouldn't have posted this.
(I did build a website using notepad about 10 years ago...but I don't remember any of it)

On a serious note, I've heard good things about NVU, but never used it myself.

I generally use the editor built into eclipse and occasionally dreamweaver.
SeaMonkey Composer and Kompozer are something to check out |

I only messed with it briefly, but it comes off like a freebie older version of Dreamweaver. Not bad.

Get a Mac it has iWeb and it is easy to create and publish sites. Of course that's probably an expensive solution to an easy problem. Try eclipse, it's free and has tons of plugins.
