that would mean nearly every streetbike bike at the dragstrip is a waste. bikes are made for a purpose, and that purpose is the owners enjoyment. so, i'd say if the guy at the track is enjoying his bike, whether it be a trackday or a dragstrip, then its not a waste. imo

To each their own...if you've got the $$ to do it and want to be different go for it.

Having said this...sure it does seem kind of funny or "out there" to do this with the new BMW but it doesn't bother me.
