I guess it all depends on what you want to do with it...

If you want to get stupid - I'd buy an e-tek (plenty floating around out there) and run it at 72V. PERM makes a nice motor, but they're like 2x the cost and not much more power.

If you want something more user friendly - I'd buy the big Magmotor (ferrite magnet one)... I'd also run it at 36V...

If I was on a budget - I'd probably source the biggest DC motor I could find at the surplus store... OR... go find the starter motor from a big rig... a lot of the robot guys have over-volted them with really good results...

Knock yourself out... Magmotors are listed under AmpFlow... guess they changed their name or something...
