I think that is on the low side but it does fall in the range for that bike.
I would expect it to average 40. (Still cracks me up that my old fat ZX-11 would average 46-50mpg and all the modern lightweights are averaging in the 30's) |

They ought to. The 450 idled fine and all I did to put it running again from its 10 year nap in the mud hole I pulled it from was clean the fuck out of the stock carbs. I didn't even replace any of the 20+ year old boots or gaskets, just submerged them in oil for a few days.

So funny man, I just picked up a can for that very reason. Seems to be running very smoothly, but its worth it just to be safe.
