Twas a good game to watch. USA didn't let anyone down with their performance.
Canada deserves the Gold for their come back from the opening loss. But both teams each won a game. Canada should be happy. Hockey is their life. |

That game was one of the best sporting events of the last year. I thought both teams played really hard and clean. And I was happy Canada won because
A) Canada is a badass country and B) It means so much more to them to win gold on their home ice than it would've meant to Americans. It made me miss hockey. I used to watch every single Stars game...for three years leading up to the strike. Since the strike I haven't watched a single full game, I just got really turned off after spending money on tickets, flags and jerseys that all the sudden there was no hockey to watch. The NHL forever lost me as a fan...
