Actually... that's it... you may have solved an age-old dilemma!
The oil of the bacon fat might be just what is needed to prevent the sudden shifting of the ice in the glass which robs many of us of our dignity! Imagine the shirts and chins that could be kept dry!

Actually, no.
It's probably a Rauchbier. Rauch is the German word for smoked. You smoke the malt over beechwood chips before brewing. The smokey flavor tastes a bit like bacon. Putting bacon in beer would not work very well, because the fat would inhibit carbonation. JC

buddy here had a recipe that called for cook bacon, then leave bacon fat in pan and add cabbage, cook cabbage until tender in fat, than add crushed up bacon pieces that were removed earler. he says it is awesome, served with butter. can only be eaten once as you immed go into cardiac arrest but sounds good though.
