I cleaned and detailed the sled.

before:

after:

Turtle Wax Ice works pretty well on the plastic:

I also cleaned up/changed the oil, etc on the snowblower - we got some flurries later:

I still rode into the office today (it was 28 degrees and the grass was crunchy from frost).

I've got heated gear. I ride all year as long as there isn't ice/snow on the roads.

go visit derf and steal his one glove. rip it in half and use it as an extra outer layer for your current gloves. should be good for at least another week.

Put some latex or nitrile gloves on first under your riding gloves. Get back with me.

I'm not far off from that myself. Probably do an oil change and put it in my basement in a couple of weeks.

For me, the reminder is usually the Toys for Tots toy run....held the first Sunday of November every year. The last couple of years we've been lucky to have outstanding weather for the ride so it hasn't really felt like winter. The forecast is for it to be sunny and 70F this Sunday too....should be a good time.

My reminder (and one that GM hates) is that its too cold for 'pretty pajamas' so out comes the fleece. I love the fleece and flannel!
