Fixed the brake line issue (banjo bolt hitting the fork tube)
Took about 10 minutes (half of that time was finding an extension cord for the Dremel lol). With the offending metal tab: Choosing my weapon: MUCH better: Rotated brake lever (finally):

Now it's time to get rid of that cramp-buster thing and get yourself a proper Throttlemeister.

I love mine. I've had it on there for about 5 years give or take.
It holds just fine in triple digits also. ETA: As for *how* it works, it's a twist-compression system. When you twist the Throttlemeister, it compresses into the bar to hold the throttle. It releases when you twist it, or roll back on the throttle. It is a bit of a pain to get adjusted with the right combination of shims, but once you take the time to do that, you're set.

hmmm, they're still a tad bit pricey
I've spent a decent amount on my bike this year in accessories - this one may have to wait a TAD bit longer or else my wife will get upset I'll be cruising ebay and such for one I think for a while.

Be sure you know what others will fit from their website so you can widen your search on Ebay.
In my case, the same Throttlemeister fits the Busa *and* the TLR. Handy if I ever decide to tour on the TLR again.
