You weren't properly torqueing the axle already anyways?!?
Christ. That bearing has seen better days. You should be able to get that out pretty easily with a bearing puller as long as the inner race doesn't disintegrate when you try to grab it, maybe add a little heat too.

That's the benefit of bringing the wheel in lose. They can't tell I used the wrong spacer. If not, it's not that expensive to replce. Like $30.

As long as you treat them well a cheap torque wrench is great.
I've seen snapons WAY out of calibration, and a well cared for cheapo from harbor-freight be spot-on.
