With only 1 speed, the torque is irrelevant, unless it is going through wet snow or ice. The transmissions on the smaller engines allow them to be more efficient than the big block. Now take that motor, and stuff it in a Miata for a fun toy.

that train snowblower is a monument to all that is manly. now we just need to figure out how to make it work for the everyday homeowner.
