This will be one for the record books and it will be absolutely devastating for the mid-Atlantic and the Northeast. Let us hope for the best with Hurricane Sandy... I hope everyone is well...
Hey Jay!

It just wouldn't be a proper Hurricane without you.

Saw that too, sucks. Glad he is alright out there on the island. Storm surge isn't something you should play with on the coast.

What fred said, waters ankle deep downstairs right now. We fought it best we could but was just too much. Seems the whole area is under water. Guys next door have been here 20 years and they never had a flood. Seems like the water level isnt rising anymore so I guess we will take that. The pergo floor I put in 2 years ago is now floating.

From looking at your pictures I think you will be alright, just need to hose the car (santa fe at least) and bikes off really good with fresh water to clean out the salt water. Just make sure the water didnt go over the door sills and you should be alright, you may need to change the oil a few times to make sure there is no water in the block. I dont think your accord will fare quite as well

I agree. Its been a tank so I am hoping it will make it through, the upside is the water pulled back fast so downstairs is clearing out as is my accord. Also the bikes survived.
