The "Couch"...
My 1993 K75SA, Pearl Alpine White, Corbin Saddle. I got it about two and a half years ago with just under 16K miles. I've now got about 37K miles on it. Since the picture was taken, I've added a 22L topcase, Autocomm, MP3 Player. The current Pirelli Sport Demon tires are the best traction combination - time will tell if they're going to last any "reasonable mileage".
For some unknown reason, especially at night, traffic seems to 'get out of my way' when I run center track down the LH lane of our local freeways...

Ok, I was told to get my ass in here and post the goodness that I have for all to see.
So, without further adieu, I give you the first steed, my 2000 TL1000R. She is graced with Marchesini 5 spoke magnesium wheels, Penske triple-adjustable rear shock, Traxxion reworked front forks, Yoshimura full titanium race exhaust (cans *and* headers), Kevlar clutch and brake lines front and rear, and the top end has been reworked with ported heads, polished valves, and a little extra compression. I also built a custom license plate bracket to tuck the signals and plate up without losing any of the monster trunk space! If anybody knows where I can get a Yoshimura race kit computer, speak up! I could really use the adjustability with the motor work, as I bang the rev limiter at 11,500 like yesterday. I could really use another 1500 rpm. Here are the pics. Steed #2 coming up next.

And for my second trick, the 2003 Hayabusa. Mere mortals fear this motorcycle.
Mine has 51,000 miles give or take and has visited 46 states and 6 Canadian provinces in 5 years of ownership. I'll polish off what's left next year. She's been decked out with Krauser hard bags, GPS and mount, XM sat radio and mount, accessory fuse block, and Throttlemeisters. I also have some 110 watt driving lights with brackets, but I haven't wired them up yet. I don't need them *just* yet, but when the time comes, I have them.

1993 Kawasaki ZR1100. It was originally named the "Zephyr" but due to a lawsuit by Ford Motor Company, the Zephyr name was dropped. Due to the negative publicity, the ZR1100 was only offered in the US in 1993.
I purchase the cycle in June of this year with 18K on it and I just turned 23K a few weeks ago. I did purchase a Slipstreamer SS-28 fairing to extend my riding season. I ride to work as much as possible & it's 18 miles each way. The ZR1100 was purchased so I had something to ride while I restore my 1973 Kawasaki H1 500. Here's the beauty after 22 years of storage ( it's running in the pic) I've completely stripped the bike, sandblasted and painted the frame with black epoxy paint. I rebuilt the engine and polished the cases. Jeff |

I was waiting for that.
It's what was on. That's not to say *I* listen to Wang Chung. Ok ok, maybe I do. A little. On occasion.

almost 15,000 miles street riding and track days no modifications. I'm trying to save for a car that I desparately need. I bought the bike 4.5 years ago instead of a car... now it's really time for a car. if I bought any modification it would be a steering damper. |
