when did we start discussing sand paper?
as for temp, I'm in Central NY and a person at the office put a tray of raw cookies in the trunk... when she came out 8 hours later, they were baked.

I had planned to keep it in the box in came in.
Although all the expert advice has made me re-think it. |

You want to store a helmet in the trunk of your car...
The purpose is to have a helmet in case you want to go an unexpected ride. Am I the only one who missed where you have a bike to ride after driving somewhere in your car with a helmet in the trunk? |

Haha. I don't think heat really make styrofoam brittle otherwise they probably wouldn't use it as insulation in coffee cups, thermoses, coolers, etc. The bigger concern would probably be the issue someone mentioned of the glue delaminating although I'm prone to agree that the inside of a car, even in the sun, can't get hot enough to do serious damage to a helmet. I would think they make sure the tolerances for failure are a lot higher than 140 degrees.

She's a girl and she's cute - probably gets offered rides on the back of bikes and/or rides on someone's spare bike all the time.
