Quite honestly, the riding up there is a workout in itself...and you may find yourself exhausted after jut a few hours...I dont think you'd need to worry about it overmuch...

Yeah, just run the gap about 5 times consecutively. That would be just as good as running. That's how I work out. I mean just keep going, don't take breaks. Ride to the overlook turn around without stopping, ride to the state line without stopping turn around, repeat.

good god, I have never poured more sweat out of my body, that was an amazing sauna. Imagine it in August with it 100 degrees outside. fuck that would suck.

Uh, Nancy carries when she runs. It's not the issue of bears but feral dogs and the occasional wild boar. Plus, every once in a while, there's some A$$#@&% that'll try to mess w/her. For heavens sakes, folks, it's the big woods!!!!
