I"m running a Duro HF918 rear right now on my Hurricane. going to get a matching front soon too. I think its a good street tire, bias ply construction but hey, it fits nicely and feels really stable.
I buy my tires directly from a shop here that I absolutely love. anyone who knows pureacceleration will know what I'm talking about. I love spending time down there, even if I dont buy nothin, the shop still rocks just to hang out at. |

just curious-i need some new tires...i commute, but its a 5min commute. seriously. im not a agressive knee dragger, but im riding the twisties and learning, a trackday is in the future.. i have a totally different bike to drag race, so this one will never see the strip, and im rarely on the freeway for more than 80miles at a time. '00 gsxr 750.
was lookin at Bridgestone BT002's just because i saw a deal on them. other than that, havent really looked. what say you? pp's? o16's?

My bike has Dunpoop 208's on it now... They are to the wearbars and I wouldn't be surprised if I rotated the tire and saw metal someplace... Didn't think they'd crap out that quick on a 450 round trip jaunt for turkey... Got some decisions to be makin' now...

2CT's are where I'm leaning, but I might just say fuck it and rock some Road 2's... I don't see myself pushing this bike in any of the non-existent corners anytime soon. I had Conti's on the 954... I was surprised by them... they wore well and stuck pretty good, but the rear tire's profile was similar to that of a top fuel dragster's rear... |
