I'm dog-sitting tonight one of the bestest dogs I've ever had the pleasure of having contact with. He's a great dog....very well mannered, well behaved....a big baby though.
This is Sin.

I'm not sure exactly what mix he is. He looks more like a pit (the pic doesn't do him justice). He's one of the sweetest & most well behaved dogs I've ever been around. He's not very active but he's old too. Somewhere around 10-12 years old, IIRC. Every once in a while I'll keep an eye on him during the day for my housemates. This is the first time he'll be with me overnight. I'm just glad he's well housebroken and won't chew up my shit.
Now to go find the Padawan's cat and put him in a safer place than where's he's hiding. I need to move his poop pan and food bowl to my son's room and put him in there.

I took my dog to a 5k race today. It was a breeze to him, especially with it pouring down rain. I'm dying and when I got done running he was whimpering and looking like "This can't be over yet".

Ambly's $0.02
Okay time for Ambly to chip in.
Great call earlier on Science Diet. It's bullshit crap food. If you can afford to feed your dog science diet, you can afford so much better foods. We're personally feeding ours Chicken Soup for the Dog Lovers Soul Large Breed (had them on Large Breed Puppy before). Good food, they process it well. It's fair on price for your more premium dog food brands, I pay $38/35lb bag at the feed store. I serve about twenty cups per day combined (1 German Shep, 2 Labs) and they do very well. I'll have to upload some more pics of my kids sooner or later... Y'all mgiht get them this week. Anyways, what vitamin suppliment are y'all recommending for the dogs? Any word on Dinovite? |

One of the dogs threw up last night...these are the bones I pulled out:
They were very energetic today and very strong at the park with the cart and so forth...still, the bones make me wonder if the RMB is as healthy as they say. What do you think? ________ IPAD CASES Last edited by Kaneman; 05-09-2011 at 08:37 PM.. |
