Read The Fucking Manual / Message
I swear I'm going to have that engraved on my urn. It seems impossible to go a day at work without at least one moron asking what/when/where/why/who/how when the info they are asking for is clearly in the message/instructions that were provided to them. Is it because people's attention spans are nil these days? |

Even my CEO e-mailed me this morning and simply said "Duh! " , after I replied to a moron with a mass e-mail pointing out the answer was clearly in the short and simple instructions.

You'll find that when ppl need a piece of equipment to do their job, and somebody else maintains it, they just don't give a shit. They consider it an expendable tool, and have no interest in knowing anymore than the basics.
I see it all the time at work, and since my job is to supply them with that info and fix their mistakes, I take it as part of the job and continue on my merry way. |
