It's Payback Time: Seattle Restaurant Says TSA? No Way!
There might not be much you can do about rude or dismissive TSA agents on their home turf (i.e. the airport), but one Seattle restaurant has managed a little payback away from the terminal.
The Consumerist is reporting that the owner of a restaurant near the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport has implemented an official ban on all TSA agents. Noting that they have the right to deny service to anyone, one employee says, "we have posted signs on our doors basically saying that they aren't allowed to come into our business." Seriously though. A friend of my bil's works for them. I asked if he used the scanners and he said yes. I then asked if he seen anything crazy on people or had anything on opt out day a few months ago. He said lots of tampons and adult diapers. Lol. But got defensive when I said I wouldn't fly anymore because of it.
I thought to myself. Wow it must suck to work for the devil. Fuck tsa. |

Y'know, that's what gets me.
I've heard a lot of cries from people who do shitty jobs like that who just say "I'm just doing my job", and my reply is always the same: "your job sucks, and you need a new job, one that isn't horrible to others". Why do people do things like work for the TSA? Would you want your grandmother treated that way? Don't do it to other people. It's not hard. I know we're in tough times, but there's other work. The people who work doing horrible things to other people must lack some sort of compassion. I'd rather panhandle, personally.

Yeah IDK... he definately copped an attitude with me on the subject. Kinda of a Holy than thou type attitude. Like this is the way it is and it's not going to change.
Which makes me think that mentality is coming from the higher up TSA and filtered down into the ranks. I suppose you would have to mind fuck your employees in order to get them to violate their fellow citizens' basic rights. The whole damn system is F'ed. I swear... I would rather not fly at all anymore. If I have to, I may look into going thru an airport without the scanners. There are 2 not far from me. Flint & Toledo |

The down side of this, is that the next time I fly out of Sea-Tac, some hungry TSA fuck-wad, is going to steal my Kit-Kats.

Your track record with Kit-Kats hasn't been stellar.

I know... I have found flights to the same destination being cheaper out of Flint or Toledo. Even when they connect in detroit. How stupid!
