so the throttle is on the left in other countries? that'd mess me up more than driving on the wrong side of the road.

He didn't have either feet on the throttle so it might still be on the right.
As squidly as that is, you can't get much cooler than that.

And, yes, they are that bad about staying in lanes. I saw one fellow who kept his car centered right on the dashed line, so he drove in two lanes. I'd guess he was home schooled in driving and just didn't know how to properly drive on a freeway.
