I got a 06 Xterra with the 4.0 you can buy... but no supercharger

My bro had a 200X frontier with the V6. It was a decent engine but lacked power when you're going 70 and needing to pass someone quickly.

Unless your brother wants to have to put premium gas in it, along with getting crappy mileage to boot, I'd suggest he doesn't. I knew that when I bought mine but it seems many people don't think about that.
That's just the end result. Depending on the year of his truck, he may need a new hood to accomodate the added height of the blower. He'll also need to have the 3.3L V6 specifically, as this is what the SC is fitted for. Not to mention a new ECU, new timing belt, wiring harnesses, etc. So....does he REALLY want to do that? |
