It also said 10% over jap bikes. Given the lower valve area they can go over 599 and likely remain legal. They probably wouldn't need 18k.

In similar news triumph has all but promised the long rumored return of the litre class daytona for 2012. Starting to sound like there's gonna be some seriously interesting toys to choose from if they send me overseas again

The S1000RR does not exactly break the mold wrt engine. I figure their supersport will be the same.
