Chi. Would you like to go eat some pie with me?

Its driving bonkers that it doesnt have an oil cooler. I for an engine that doest even hold 2.5 quarts, you'd think here were be one. Maybe someone will figure a way to add one.

I'm not sure where you'd mount a cooler, even if you could find one. Years ago I used to deal with these guys, who I bought a 13-row cooler for my Bandit 1200 from. The thing was a bloody work of art!

I'll likely go full synth on the second or third oil change.

You can always use the oil sensor port but it wont be useful if its a tiny port. Usually theres a port/bolt in an engine that goes to an oil passage that isnt used, but of course youd need anothergport for the return.

The 2010's rads are bigger. Ill keep an eye out for one.

Couldn't you find a oil filter remote and put it inline?

I was better off replacing the stock cooler, though I could also have just added a secondary oil cooler. The early B12 is air/oil cooled, not liquid cooled.

I forgot about a sandwhich adapter. Theres room for a 6" or longer oil filter on this bike. I installed an oil cooler on my vehicle and the oil stays golden a lot longer now.

I was just thinking of a small 3 or 4 row cooler. Not knowing the strength of the oil cooler. I wouldnt want to go too big on the cooler or run too long of hoses. Relocate the horn and theres plenty of room on the left side. If be it, Im sure I can make some brackets to mount it front of the rad.

Now I want some pie.

Have you done anything about all the wind blasting your helmet? My setup is also shooting bugs that splat all across my line of vision.

I could have sworn you posted about your windscreen directing wind right into your helmet.

Nah. I was talking about my helmet mashing my face. That's just going to happen when going 70mph and fighting heavy winds.
