Oh I know how you feel, it was absolutely insane in New Orleans for Mardi Gras weekend. They are still partying down there and it's freakin Lent (a huge Catholic population down there.)

At least the canadian chicks hocley team knows how to celebrate, by drinking and sticking long hard things down their throats

Though nobody seems to want to mention that they got beat by a 16 year old boys team while practicing the other day

Men are better hockey players than women... We;ve known that for a long time now man.. Im happy for the girls and all, dont get me wrong, but we won mens hockey GOLD! Everything else is secondary. Ask any Canadian what the most important medal was?

That game was one of the best sporting events of the last year. I thought both teams played really hard and clean. And I was happy Canada won because
A) Canada is a badass country and
B) It means so much more to them to win gold on their home ice than it would've meant to Americans.

It made me miss hockey. I used to watch every single Stars game...for three years leading up to the strike. Since the strike I haven't watched a single full game, I just got really turned off after spending money on tickets, flags and jerseys that all the sudden there was no hockey to watch. The NHL forever lost me as a fan...

Hiding, I just got in to work. Like I said last week. If Canada didn't win the gold then it would have been complete failure. They won gold.... Ok, they were supposed to.
