Hey,what do you guys think about the "wide" angle though? I'm thinking about going back after the normal lens version... besides,it's a 5 meg camera too,so I could take quick shots off the bike too.

I don't know...would you be able to sell the wide version for less than $154 plus tax? Then heck yea! Btw do you have the wide or normal version?

Yea well my "pavement grip" was sick that day. Oh for the record,I picked rough roads on purpose to see what the "shake" situation was going to be...I had tried a Sony SD camcorder last summer and the results were disappointing to say the least.

I was wondering what the video on those looked like. the Parts Unlimited guy didn't know much about them when I talked to him about it. I ended up making my own setup. I took an old X10 wireless security cam and turned it into a remote wired cam that plugs into my recorder.

YEARS AGO,when we were trying to produce stunt videos,we used a Sony camcorder and a security camera. Not great quality because most of them don't auto focus very well and they are low meg. Although,I'm sure they're better now. Btw those Flip,Aptek, etc camcorders don't appreciate a lot of vibration. That's why I went this way,it's vibration proof, water proof to 100,has a protective case to repel rocks, etc and they cost around $150 with all the mounts you could ever need. To include a monster suction cup mount. The only negative I have is battery life! Go and buy NiMh batteries and a charger to go with this baby! About 1 hour of recording on a set of alkaline batteries.

I think I like the wide angle Tigger. Here's the standard one I tested... suction cup to my speedo that's rubber mounted and through the windscreen so it's jumpy...

this didn't do too bad. I already had the x10, got the cam for about $100, don't remember right now. I've used it just on rides and at the track, no problems yet.

Looks good Tigs, I like the wide. Will give you a better view in twisty roads if you aren't right on your buddies ass you won't loose them.

Where did you have it mounted?
