It's not like the cops led her or enticed her to do something illegal. They were simply present when she did something illegal.

It's not entrapment when the situation is real. There were kids on the bus and it was the same time, and place as it had happened every other time. This time the cops just happened to be waiting for her.

Might want to check the definition of Entrapment. If it were, the cops would have had to convince her to drive over the Sidewalk.

Yup, entrapment would be a cop directing her to ride up on the sidewalk then writing a ticket for it, this would be better served as a sting operation

Unfortunately, that's not even how entrapment works these days... Cops can coerce you to do something, but they cannot do it by force.

Mothers always defend their children, whether they still live with them or not. Think of all the murderers who have had their families firmly behind them at trial, no matter how obviously guilty they were.

Now lying in the face of video evidence, though, is just plain stupid. Here comes that damned Shaggy song again.

"Alleged" detour?

What kind of fucking nonsense is that?! There is a video of her TAKING the "detour"....she DID it..there is nothing "alleged" about it.

And seize her fucking car and run it through it a compactor/shredder....if they can seize the cars of street racers and destroy them, surely they can seize the car of someone stupid enough to pull a stunt like that.

Well she's presumed innocent until there's a finding of guilt in court. In this case I recommend a rather lengthy trial with a jury of her peers and a costly attorney, culminating in bankruptcy and a guilty verdict.
