I'm pretty sure the paramilitary style SWAT team member that kicks in your door for nothing more than a dirty pot pipe, and then shoots your dog dead probably has been pretty thoroughly convinced that he's "attacking the enemy" by his superiors too.

Sadly, humans are easily directed to do absolute horrors to others, with surprisingly little consideration.

TSA says that the story is fake

Quote:
TSA Transportation Security Officers Denied Service At Mystery Seattle Restaurant? Not likely…
A travel blogger wrote a post earlier this week claiming that TSA Transportation Security Officers (TSOs) were being denied service from a restaurant near the Seattle-Tacoma airport. No restaurant name was given. The story has since gone viral and has even popped up on national TV. Being appalled by the story, we naturally looked into it and none of our workforce in the Seattle region had heard of or seen this mystery restaurant. Yesterday, the Seattle Weekly’s “The Daily Weekly” Blog posted a piece titled: “Sea-Tac "Anti-TSA Cafe" Story Sounds Like a Hoax.” The post raised some great questions on the legitimacy of the rumor, so we decided to share it on Twitter last night and now with our blog audience.
And I actually believe them, it seems no one can actually find the cafe.

Even if it is true, it's dumb. Grow up and submit your complaints TO THE PEOPLE IN GOVERNMENT WHO CREATED OR APPROVED THE POLICY. TSA AGENTS DID NOT.

The agents may not create the policy, but I've had plenty of the surly bastards give me attitude for no good reason.

I don't know how much money the assholes make, but apparently it's not enough for them to consider extending some common courtesy to the people they supposedly serve.

As for "submitting your complaints to the people in the Government", bwahahahaha.

Good luck with that.

Low 30's per year, less if they are subcontractors

....
This...the problem arises when you give someone a little authority who is not used to having such authority and they suddenly want to over extend the boundaries. It's like security guards that want to act like cops.
