Yup, that's him. There was another candidate, a social liberal, who had to drop out of the race VERY early. Apparently most people took exception to him using his city office to cheat on his girlfriend. They also didn't like that he spent city money on learning French. He seemed to be The Mayor's golden boy.

And the latest news is that the "fiscal responsibility" candidate's campaign funding is $650,000 in the hole, which means that his total campaign spending is $300K over the limit. THIS guy is going to fix the city's finances?!
