It sounds like you might have an air bubble. I've ran it in 2 bikes so far, and both of them took quite abit longer to warm up after I put it in.

Also did you flush out your existing coolant thouroughly before putting the engine ice in? Engine ice isn't compatable with regular antifreeze. So if there was any green antifreeze left, it could be reacting with the Engine ice.

I have it in both the TL and CBR, and they both run a little cooler. The biggest thing I've noticed is that they take longer to get hot ie. when sitting in traffic.

True, many tracks won't accept bikes running regular anti-freeze, or any Gylcol based coolants,(like Engine Ice). Glycol is extremely slippery stuff, and can screw up a track surface in the event of a leak, or crash.

Personally, I like Redline's Water Wetter with a 20% Gylcol mix for street, and a one ounce per quart, Water Wetter/ Distilled water combo, for the track.

The other advantage to WW, is that it's compatible with regular coolants, so there is no worry about reactions to residual anti-freeze in the system.

I would, however, probably run Engine Ice, if my bikes were allowed to freeze in the winter. (They're not).
