I want my fork tubes to be black. Anybody ever painted or powdercoated their fork tubes? Don't even know if it's possible.

I imagine you could paint it... powder coating... I think you'd need to do some disasembly of the fork and really make sure they don't over spray...

That's the only thing that gets me. I miss the black fork tubes on my '06. They revised the fork tubes for '08 and don't know if the '06's will fit in my triple clamps, if I were to come across some.

well I doubt it if one of the improvements was handleing...

you can always try painting a set... if it doesn't work or looks like crap... send them off to be powdercoated... but I'd only do a spair set... so incase they fuck something up... your not out riding time
