something's fishy...

I learned to drive on a car that was notorious for the carbs freezing in the winter... several times the sucker froze open and I shoved it in neutral and shut the thing off (flooded the piss out of the thing too).

At the time, it was in the DMV manual what to do if the accelerator got stuck.

Hahaha. I remember reading about that a while back. Didn't they purposely put some kind of accelerant to make the tanks explode?

That Lexus probably had 4wheel disc brakes that could stop a nuclear powered freight train. Major fail on their part.
