i'd like to say that i'd turn it in...most likey i would, but the bag would definitely be a lot lighter...say 20Gs lighter...

who the fuck am i kidding...curb goes on a world tour!

I mean you said its in small bills...right there that would raise a flag that this could be drug money or laundred money. so chances are this money could've been illegally obtained so i'd probably lay low and see if anything came up in the news

I'd turn it in. But I didn't even need to read the OP's response to know what he says he'd do.

It's not mine...plain and simple.

Curb, your logic (and many other's here) frightens me. It's a bag of small bills next to an ATM! Who launders money through cash deposits in an ATM?

I'd be willing to bet $120K that it was money used to fill the ATM (which dispenses small bills) and not laundered drug money.

I'd probably struggle with the decision, but in the end I'd probably end up turning it in.

With $125k I'd be debt free and that's what would make it such a difficult decision.

Not to single anyone out but...to those that answered in this manner I have one question: How much does your conscience cost?

well i thought about that and depending on what denomination the bills were would mean alot...if it was only 20s then yea...its to refill the ATM...but if its 1s, 5s, 10s, 20s and maybe 50s...something doesn't smell right

About 120K. (give or take at little)

No name on the bag? That shit's mine. If you're stupid enough to lose 120 grand, I'm smart enough to keep it.

I'd probably need to think about it a few minutes, but I'd turn it in. Would have my fingers crossed for a reward.

When I was younger I worked at a store where we kept most of the $20's outside of the register. My co-worker and I used to joke if we were held-up, we'd keep that money for ourselves. I ended up being held-up when I was working alone, I didn't give the thief the money outside of the register. Honestly it never even occurred to me to stash that money for myself. If I recall correctly it was around $400 that I didn't give to the thief.
