Glad to hear she is OK. Funny how parents expect us to listen to them when they say something, but never listen to us when we tell them.

aint that the truth.

I hope yours heals up quick and doesnt attempt to ride anything again ever.

Seeing your own mother in the hospital is one of the worst things in the world to me. I've been through that ONCE, and dnt like the feeling.

She's going home today. Surgery to reconstruct her knee will be in a week or so.

Circle of life. They clean our diapers and one day we'll be cleaning their diapers. Seems his mom made it back to the rebellious teenage stage again. Jtemple, you need to ground her for a week and cut her allowance in half.

Glad she's okay. My mom got hurt pretty bad on a BMX bike many years ago. I use to race and my mom wanted to give it a try. She went over a jump fairly quick and lost control.

My grandma is going to be her live-in nurse for a while. I made arrangements to have a ramp built on to her porch. Right now, she has to be carried up the steps. She should have a ramp in a week.

This makes me glad my mom won't even consider getting on a bike. She hates mine.

Same here. She finally came to terms with mine but will never touch a bike.

Same here. Which no one in my family would really consider a bike.

My parents wouldn't even let me get a go-kart cause they were scared I'd hurt myself. So I got a crotch rocket.

Damn that sucks. Hope she recovers soon. Even though she didn't listen to you...I'm sure you haven't always listened to her... in one ear and out the other. People learn by their mistakes.
