Wasn't too crazy about many of the 80's bikes once a lot of them went to the squarish tanks, fairings, bodywork etc.

those are pretty cool. not sure about that tractor trailer tranny though. seen a few this way for a grand or less

I didnt like square/angled 80's bikes until I found mine and fell in love with it....

Hey now, here is my old girl and she is an 82. Bought her new off the show room floor in 83.

Still got her and she looks just like the pics below. My plans now are to convert her to a SuperF, which is basically swapping the forks for CBR600F3 forks and triple tree with the stock triple tree pin welded into the CBR triple trees. Then install a set of CBR600F3 wheels so i can run sport radial tires 120/160 setup with CBR calipers. Bike will retain the stock look with headlight, but have better forks and wheel size with radials instead of bias-ply tires today
