Im sorry to yall, I should have been more specific on my post... the $8K is what I payed for my truck a little over a year ago.

I sold my F3 for $1000, and someone is looking to buy my gixxer for $2K.

so that should be more than enough to fix whatever is wrong with it or maybe even get a new tranny.

shit man, go to a salvage yard, $1000 will get you a good transmission with change left over. hell where I am, a grand will get your trans rebuilt by a buddy of mine who does this shit for a living.

yeah i know he meant a Tacoma... I have an 87 Toyota pickup 300K and counting ... really want an 04 taco (last year of the old body style and fully boxed frame) to make a trail rig...

would LOVE a 09 Taco though... just no way I can afford it.
